Apologies, this is so random. Essentially I am in Bakersfield visiting family and all I want to find is one Joshua tree that I can take a photo with, as my name is Joshua and despite how corny it is I would like to do it for the sake of it. Does anyone know of a place in Bakersfield that has at least one Joshua tree? I couldn't be bothered to drive out of the city.

Thank you all so much for taking the time out of your day to help me! I'm going to try and drive down past Tehachapi near Mojave to get a photo with one. One thing I have to say is that everyone in Bakersfield and California has made an incredible impression to me, the people here are super talkative and friendly. Quite the contrast to the people in my local area in Buckinghamshire, England. You are the best people of all the countries I've travelled to, and it was my first time in the U.S so thank you so much for making it great. It's a beautiful place and I hope to come back here in the future. Perhaps I'll stay here if I get a girlfriend out here once I finish Uni, haha. All the best to everyone, thank you again!

Hello everyone, essentially I am 19 and have £21k in premium bonds. I earn £15k per year part time whilst studying to be a science teacher. I am planning to put some of my premium bonds into a stocks ISA on trading212. I intend on using Vanguard S&P 500 Acc. I just put £158 in there and will invest £250 monthly as I live at home and have no other costs aside board at ~£200 per month. How much of my premium bonds savings should I put in the ISA? I'm thinking around £7k? Is this a good plan at all? I get decent winnings from the bonds at like £100 monthly. But that's just down to luck I suppose.

I am in year 1 of my degree with the Open Uni now. I then plan to do my pgce at UCL and finish education in 2030 and become a teacher here for a decade then perhaps try to teach in the USA. Or do my teaching qualification there rather than in the UK.
