Our new pup is very calm and fine around other animals. She doesn’t pursue other cats or dogs at all from what we’ve seen. Have had them separated for a week and feeding on each side of the door. This is the 3rd time they’ve seen each other through the window. Is this a good sign? I’m much more worried about our calico attacking than the dog lol she doesn’t seemed nearly as frazzled as I thought she would be.
She was spayed 8 days ago and we’ve spent some time with her and she definitely needs a bath. We’ve gotten everything setup for her but I was hoping to have her groomed at the shelter before we brought her home however they won’t do it until after the stitches comes out.
Any suggestions to get her as clean as possible without exposing her to health risk? I have a friend that works with a vet tell me she should be fine as long as the area isn’t immersed in water.
Would dry shampoo do the trick for now?
