Is my DIY yagi antenna correct?
Made this diy 3 element yagi for VHF however It seems like I made a mistake with the reflector? Ig it's supposed be the longest and be in the back?. Please correct me if I'm making any mistakes.
Would this work with a DIY yagi? I don't have RG58 as of ryt now.

First successful attempt to decode telemetry from UmKa-1
Hi there, I have been trying to decode the telemetry for past few days and it took couple attempts but however I got it managed to decode it.
The telemetry downlink is at 437.625 you ofc have to consider the dopper efffect. Throughout the pass I recorded it in wav format and tried to put it though HS_soundmodem but even after multiple attempts and changing the FSK bd multiple times and looping though the audio file I was unable to get anything.
I then installed Conda and miniforge then proceeded with gr-satellities & satnogs and then ran them to get a hexfile JSON & KSS (kiss). I then opened them though SX-TLM-Viewer to get the decoded telemetry and then setup a html page and put all the data in there.
Unable to pickup anything on my helical antenna.
Made a LHCP helical antenna using 1mm copper wire wrapped around a pvc pipe of 6cm in diameter and spacing of 25mm. I tried to follow dereksgc I'm trying to make it for Elektro l3 & l5,GOES 15,Fengyun 2H L-band freq. Also I'm using a 90cm offset dish and there's continuity in the grounding. For some reason I'm also able to pick up local FM broadcast as well. I unfortunately do not have a nanovna so there's no way for me to check the SWR.

Is GOES-15 still active for weather image down link?
Basically the title as well as is there any time for down link?
Weird frequency of sorts? I assume its harmonics and happens when I press PTT on walkie.
Hey,folks I was testing out my new TYT TH-8000D walkie I bought recently. However, I wanted to see if I would receive anything with my sdr and seems like I'm getting harmonics of sorts? I'm currently using a rtl-sdr v3 with telescopic dipole antenna with length of 49cm each arm.
FCC license for foreign nationals.
I'm located in KSA and I have tried to get a HAM license but I'd have to travel to the country's capital and stay there for few days which is not possible for me. I have been wanting to get FCC license for a while by now and I have spoken with HAM radio operators and read though laws and seems like if I happen to have a foreign callsign I can legally use/operate ham radio. But my question is from what I can find FCC doesn't seem to have reciprocal laws with KSA I meant its not there in their list of countries.Would it cause problem from FCC side cuz from my country side its a total OK.
Edit: forgot to add Ik few folks in sates and I can use their mailing adress and give the examination online.
All the ISS SSTV I have received until now by using DIY Yagi
Got this from a DIY tape measure Yagi antenna I made,I'm not sure what's up with the green thingy at the side I suppose I wasn't tuned into it at the start and did so a sec or 2 later or I suppose SWR issues? I'm not to sure I was also aiming around the proximity of a 5g cell tower as it was a low pass.
Edit: I apologize abt the pic of yagi antenna, that's the only one I had and I had to crop the img.
Caught ISS overhead pass.
My apologies for the weird input of the video it seems like I must have run into a problem caused by Reddit or my video editor.

Hey guys, received my first ever ISS SSTV today by using rtl-sdr V3 and DIY 4 element yagi made from tape measure.
Hey,guys I have been wanting to receive something or anything from the ISS weather is be downlink coms at 145.800 Mhz or APRS at 145.825 Mhz. My current setup is using the original dipole kit. Each arm length is about 49-50 cm with 190 degrees apart and horizontally facing the ground and I'm manually orientating it towards the direction of ISS I do understand they have vertical polarization so ig my setup is wrong? The best case until now I have received is just a thin line on the waterfall, should I try it with a wideband LNA?
