Very hard to control throttle/Gas pedal

I’m a new driver and I’ve driven few cars , with my Yaris. I’m having this problem of controlling the gas pedal at launch.

I want to give it around 1.5K rpm but it’s so hard to do that unless I really take my time and press it ever so slowly.

It’s either 2.5k -3k Rpm or like nearly no gas at all.

Is this just me or is that how the car is designed ?

My dad has a Suzuki swift and I find it fairly easy to give it 1.5 - 2k rpm on that and same with my instructors Vauxhall corsa.

It’s a 2009 Yaris 1.0l (Uk)

It used to right next to home and search at the bottom , I tied the work and pay under the Tesco colleague help but takes me to another tab and when I click it after , it just shows my profile picture and nothing else.

Hello

Recently went to get my blowing exhaust done and the mechanic told me , there is a lot of rust underneath my car and that the sills are rusted.

He said it could possibly fail an MOT , he also said he has seen worse conditions cars with worse rust having passed the MOT and it would come down to the individual MOT tester wether my car passes or not.

I have uploaded a video of it and I’m sorry it’s not very clear , was taken in day light but you can see the rust in the end.

What do you guys think ?

Is this extremely bad or can this get me through one more MOT. Ive only recently bought the car as well and mechanically the car is great.

Its 09 Yaris

P.S the guy also stated it would cost £600 per sill to get it fixed. I only paid £1500 for the whole car.
