My eARC soundbar is often an ARC soundbar.

I have Samsung Q930D and Sony TV.
Sometimes the soundbar would show as ARC, but most of the time it was eARC. Currently, it seems to be about 50/50. The cable is the original one and I’m using the eARC HDMI port.

Another issue that happens is that the TV sometimes does not detect the soundbar at all, even after going into the sound settings and selecting test sound (you know what I mean) The only thing that helps is turning off both the TV and the soundbar and unplugging them from the power outlet. (It would be enough to unplug Only TV probably)

I repeatedly change Motionflow to “Off”, and every time I check the setting during the next PS5 gaming session, it’s set back to Custom. All the other settings stay unchanged.

I have “Custom” set to “Min” so that it’s as close as possible to “Off.”

I watched the trailer twice and I didn’t even notice that there was any soundtrack that would help build the atmosphere. At the same time, the voice is heard far too clearly and feels detached from the environment, which is uncharacteristic for Nolan.

From what I’ve heard from Nolan (new interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert) and generally about the film’s production, because of the new IMAX cameras and also the nearly 400 lb housing he talked about yesterday, the noise has been effectively reduced. Because of that, I think the film won’t be dubbed (I’m not sure of the exact term).

What do you think about it? Is it just the trailer, and will the film have the voices integrated with environmental sounds like in previous films?
