Let's be honest, the only thing that you leave with after the end of a semester is your SGPI and CGPA.

And Rama Murthy Sir is a very generous man when it comes to giving marks.

Like literally, if there's a 5 marks question that you don't know the answer to, and it contains the word "Flip Flop", writing the definition of Flip Flop gets you 2 marks.

Have you seen grading like that anywhere??

During the beginning of my sem 2, when i learned that Rama Murthy was my teacher, I was shit scared, because of how this sub slandered him left and right, and jealous of my DS and AI friends who got another Professor.

Cut to the ending of the sem, many DS and AI students got fucked up by their Professor, while all of Rama Murthy Sir's students got extremely good grades.

Like many people whom I know, who barely passed (around 25/100 marks) in other subjects got like 40/100 in DLDCA.

So my dear juniors, pray that you get this man as your DLDCA teacher in your next sem, he's the GOAT, don't mind his classes or teaching, just trust that this man will give you excellent grades.

Im assuming you guys have this subject, as It's still put on the main website.

I don't know If you guys started this subject yet, but here's what you'll have to do in the course.

You'll have to make a comic book to pass this course. The comic book should consist of 12 chapters, and during the first 4 months of your sem, you'll draw 4 chapters out of the 12 chapters (not sequentially), and write the whole plot of the book. Then you'll have to draw the whole comic book, with all 12 chapters, during the final month.

Your work for the first 4 months will consist of 30 marks, and your work for the final project during the last month is worth 70 marks.

Now, here's some very Important Tips on how to get marks for this course.

1. Write a very simple story

During classes, the course Instructors will show very fancy slides containing images from some very popular comic books like 'Batman', and other popular manga panels, from manga like AOT. However don't be fooled by what they show you, as these people don't really expect visionary or great stories from you. They just want simple stuff from you, stuff kindergarteners read.

If you want to use this subject as a source to express your creativity in writing something complex or deep, or If you have experience in making real comics, please refrain from using your talents, and just stick to what they expect from you, basic comic books like the ones TINKLE publishes.

2. Regularly meet with your 'COMIC BOOK TEACHER'

Generally you'll have 3 main Instructors for this course, It's 3 guys, 'Ani Thomas', 'Tamal Kanti Paul' and 'Alen Kuriakose'.

Now we had 'Alen Kuriakose' as the Instructor who actually makes comics, the other 2 have 0 knowledge in making comic book stuff.

So, every week, before submitting your work, just show it to the teacher who actually makes comics, If It's Alen for you, then meet him, and ask him for corrections and if it's good.

Only ask him, not the other 2, because their opinion really doesn't matter.

It's Important for you to ask for corrections regularly, as If you don't, the teacher will point out all those after 4 months, when you're done with the 30 marks assignment, and will deduct a bunch of marks, and you can't do anything about It then.

If you follow these 2 tips carefully, you can easily score 80+ in the final thing, and get an A, (A+ is a lot more difficult, you'll have to be extremely lucky to get it).
