Because I just see too much potential for further development. (No offence) But compared to Naruto, I think MHA have so much more potential for a sequel. Because MHA have a few questions about the current generation, some questions about the current ACTUAL state of society in MHA and a lot of ways to develop the next generation. I mean, we have been revealed some of the characters in the next generation. Like, I really want to see Koki Terumoto's (The boy with the "Darkness" quirk) development as a "what if Shigaraki got help from people around him" scenario.
In my opinion: It should be about 1-A's adulthood and how they deal with their difficulties as adults, and discover more about their struggles and developments. It should also be about the next generation (Kota, Eri, Koki...). And even better, maybe some information about All Might's past and development.
This one can be controversial, but I believe we don't need "actual villains" for antagonists. Those criminals who work in the dark, without people knowing, would be just as dangerous as a group of villains that just use raw power and influence people ideologically. Basically, a group of villains that uses mostly secrets and hiding to take advantage instead of just using mostly raw power.
Yes, the amount of content is ENORMOUS, and to some people, it can be unnecessary. Also, if Horikoshi handle it well enough, it can end up being the next "Boruto" (I know, it is not that bad, but it is very polarising and controversial). But in the end, this is just my "Suggestions". And of course, everything that can be rewarding always comes with a risk.

I genuinely don’t understand how can some people HATE his design after the 8 years time-skip. Ok, he become like 15% more like his father… then WHAT?
I understand that the fandom wants him to be different from his father, but the whole point of his relationship with his father is Shoto accepting Enji and the fact that he having more of his father characteristics in him physically just shows it very well imo. And let’s be honest, the father genes NEEDS to put up a fight bro 😭 like most of the cast looks like their mother (Bakugo, Izuku, Ochaco).
And no, I don’t think he will ever look like his father. The thickness of Enji’s body is like partially because of his genes, but i think it is also due to his excessive physical training to surpass All Might. And in the epilogue, we can see Shoto is a chill guy, so I don’t think he will have his father’s built.
We all knew that quirks can affect one person’s personality. And AFO didn’t chose his quirk, so can we say that he chose to be selfish, especially when he didn’t got any help to change himself like how the protagonists did?
Why did AFO became evil? I think it is the environment, he was borned with literally no role model (As he have 0 father and his mother died) to study from. He have no one powerful enough to correct him when he do wrong.
Also, base on the living condition of Yoichi and AFO, we can understand that they live in a very hostile environment. The environment is the only place where AFO learned from and he learned that: Power = Survival. Combine with his affected personality, it is understandable thay he chose to collect as much power as possible.
People say that Yoichi is like an possession of AFO and he is “selfish”. But to my understanding, if someone that only care about themselves treat something as a possession. That thing must have some “value” to them. But when we look at Yoichi before OFA… there is just nothing about him that makes him valuable except that he is… AFO’s brother.
So I think… At the very least, AFO DO “love” Yoichi but not in a romantic way or brotherly way. It is some kind of wicked, twisted love, or should I say “obsession”.
CONCLUSION
So in conclusion, I believe that AFO is not pure evil. Because I believe he is the result of his Quirk affection, a violent, hostile living environment and lack of education. All of those allowed him to develop a selfish and power-hungry personality.
Does this means that he is innocent? Of course not. Does this means that he deserves better? No.
Does this means that people should forgive him and thirst over him? Please don’t.
But I just want people to stop thinking AFO as a “general evil villain” that evil without any proper reason.
I think Shoto will have a nightmare if he realize that he is becoming more and more like his dad.
