I need to replace a damaged windshield and would like to avoid dealership markup if possible. Has anyone used JRD Windshield Repair and Replacement here in Round Rock? I got an online quote from them that looks good. Wondering if this shop is solid or not. Also welcome any other recommendations to get this done. I'll be paying out of pocket.
I was heading eastbound on 45 back to RR around 7:45 and saw the most gorgeous Harvest Moon. Now all we need is a touch of fall weather to go with it. Fingers crossed that the rain and cooler temps forecast for next week actually happen.

I noticed a mushroom growing out of the side of a sawtooth maple in my yard. This tree survived the freeze of 2021 and still has a green canopy. I know that mushrooms can be a sign of interior rot so want to get this thing checked out sooner rather than later.
Appreciate any recommendations for an arborist or tree expert to look at it and give me an idea of what's going on inside the tree and how soon it may need to come down. Thanks!
