Is it me?

Okay guys, I need some input. I’m with my guy for almost four years. We live together for almost the whole time. We’ve moved to two states together. I travel a lot for work until the last few months and now work from home mostly. Anywhooo…..I take advantage of my works unlimited PTO and go camping. It was a solo trip for two nights, only an hour away from home at a state park. He was invited, but refused to use his unlimited PTO. I typically do a solo camping trip once a year. Just me, a good book and a bottle of whiskey. So after two nights away, I get home and the reception was freakishly cold. Like his face looked disappointed. I felt I had to almost nudge him just for a hug. I get that I wasn’t gone for long, but wouldn’t it be nice to be welcomed home with a smile? I’m wondering, is this me overthinking? What are your thoughts? One…two….go!

Voorhees State Park Campground

Just had an awesome few nights camping at Voorhees State Park Campground! The campground is peaceful, calm, and full of wildlife. It's a fantastic spot to unplug, relax, and enjoy the scenery or go for a quick hike on one of the many trails. Not to mention the Observatory. And only about a 1 hour drive away from Princeton!

Whenever I thought about New Jersey, camping was never something that came to mind, but this trip changed that. I look forward to making this a yearly trip!

If you’re looking for a nice place to spend a weekend camping in New Jersey, I’d definitely put Voorhees State Park on your list.

Serious Question...what is love to you?

Seriously, we're over 30, looking for something, maybe just cool people to chat with, maybe more. But I always stumble on this one question, what does being loved look like to you? I really want to know. Most of us have different ideas of love, and I know it's not always about a dick down...so again...what does being loved look like to you? One...two...three...go!

Jalapeño and Cheddar Sausage for the win!

If this were a video game, this Jalapeño and Cheddar Sausage would at least have been a mini boss. My first time making anything other than Italian Sausage and I'm darn satisfied. Used High Temp Cheddar, Pork shoulder and Brisket. Should I try Texas Hot Links next?

Making my non-trekkie partner play Voyager: Across the Unknown and he finds Neelix and asks, with a straight face, "Is his name Netflix?" So I'm single now...(jk)

Theme song

I’m sure this has been asked before, however, I really want to know from a more contemporary group. Out of all of the Star Trek franchise TV shows which would you say had the worst theme song and which had the best theme song?

Star Trek:Enterprise soundFX

I’m re-watching Star Trek enterprise Season 1 and while I understand when the show was produced, as I did watch it then too, some of the sound effects are a bit subpar for a Star Trek franchise show. Has anyone else noticed this?

Gay aging advice

Question for the guys who are a little older...

I'm 37, feeling like I am aging out of the gay community, happy that I look a bit older, gray hairs are appearing, have some meat on my bones and a partner who appreciates all I have to offer. But I can't help wondering about how I will age positively since there isn't a lot of older gay representation out there. Here's my question for you my friend...what advice would you give about aging as a gay man? Anything you wish you knew when you were younger?

Could be about health, dating, friendships, money, confidence, or just life in general. I'd love to hear what you've learned along the way. Any tips are appreciated!
