Everything aside, do you think 'If not X, then who?' is a good way to evaluate a government?

Curious to hear both sides: Is the lack of a strong opposition a legitimate reason to support the ruling party? The 'If not BJP, then who?' argument is probably the strongest political slogan in India. But is it actually a valid argument or just effective marketing?

They said:

  1. Boards marks collection will start very soon, check the mail frequently and website as well.

  2. The first merit list will be out for sure by the end of next week, i.e 26 July. (I confirmed this twice)
