Looking to buy a used car soon, no specific car or brand set in stone but Ive been meaning to get an OBD2 scanner but there's many options and I don't want one that's all marketing and no real use. What suggestions would you guys make? Budget is around 400 bucks
I've really been looking for the Diesel engine but can't find one for sale in my area but I have found a 99 land cruiser Prado with the 2.7L 3RZ engine. I know it's pretty underpowered but I've seen some people say this engine on the 90s series land cruiser is a ticking time bomb. Is that true, and if not, what other issues should I be looking for/expecting if I purchase this vehicle?
