Drove my new rav4 in a literal monsoon yesterday and here is what I realised

so I finally got my hybrid xle after waiting on the allocation list forever and generally I love the ride but honestly what is the manufacturer thinking with these factory fabric floor covers... I live up in the pnw and one single heavy weekend rainstorm completely soaked right through to the actual floorboard because the coverage area is an absolute joke. kinda pissed tbh because I specifically asked the dealer about weather protection and they swore the standard ones were totally fine for winter.

now my brand new car has that faint wet basement smell and I am terrified of permanent mold setting in under the seats. doing a deep dive into serious waterproof liners that can handle constant rain and slush and everyone seems wildly divided on rigid tpe versus flexible rubber materials.

I just need something that actually goes up high enough behind the dead pedal area because the water from my shoes just runs right down the back... has anyone actually tested the aftermarket weather liners in continuous heavy rain or do they all warp in the summer heat anyway?

I'm 22 rn, never touched a women in any way.

Working on myself to be settled first around 25 , but the things are getting too depressed and I have literally no one, I know I am strong and can walk through this.

But I really hope everyday that I must have someone by my side.
