Decided to switch a regular street connected to the highway going through the city to a sunken highway
So, I had a pretty big tram network. At first it was a usual ground tram type of network, but I wanted to improve traffic flow, because trams were always stuck at major intersections.
I decided to try to make an elevated tram system. It is very janky because I had to use anarchy almost everywhere while placing these elevated tracks. Then I added pedestrian paths that lead to the stops. And now when I created these new lines, it just broke. First of all, my usage numbers just plummeted from 20-22k a month to like 5-7k barely, and it just doesn't do what it is supposed to. I've noticed that rails for some reason make this intersection near stops which allows trams to do this annoying lane switching. But I still don't get why trams just don't follow the designated paths I made for them. Please help, I genuinely don't understand, is it an issue with the tracks or stops or smth else????
UPDATE: If someone else has this issue, just don't place stops next to the junctions, it has to have a tram length between a stop and a junction to work properly. (TYSM Impressive_Ad_8184)
