Parents with one son and one daughter... when did you realise you might be raising your kids differently?

We love both our children equally but over time we realised the way we interact with them is different and it is not something we do consciously. It might be because we grew up in somewhat traditional families and that could be a reason. I was curious as to whether other parents have noticed something similar.

Don't let the appearance deceive you. She's very friendly

She was not hissing in the picture. I love the odd marking on her face. She started showing up at my house recently so I wanted to share pictures here

Thoughts on how to get out of a reading slump?

I used to read so many books when I was in school and college. It was so easy to be immersed in a book to the point that I couldn't go anywhere without taking a book with me. But these days just the thought of picking up a book feels like a huge task. I really miss spending more time reading and less time scrolling and want to go back to how I used to be. Recently, I've been trying to finish reading Crime and Punishment and Odyssey. But I can't bring myself to read more than a few pages. I tried to force myself to sit down for a few minutes every day and it didn't work. Watching book related content gives me a sudden motivation but that doesn't last. For those who went from reading all the time to scrolling all the time how did you get yourself to read again?

Note: I'm NOT looking for recommendations or titles( I already have a pile of unread books) Just habits that helped you change your routine or improve attention span.
