Missing Him
That’s it. Just missing him. We had 15 good years! It’s been almost two years that he’s been gone but sometimes it hits like it was just yesterday. Anyway. He was such a cutie and I know he’s up there hanging out with my dad. 🙂

My ex took my plants to assist me with a move (that actually didn't happen), but anyway, he took it upon himself to split and repot my BEAUTIFUL leopard lily into three pots. He didn't plant them correctly. The bulbs are completely below the soil, and they look soo sad and curled up. How do I get them back healthy? I know I want to put them all in one pot again, but how do I plant them so the bulbs are correct and I don't kill them? I've had this plant for about five years. I'm very upset.
The plants are being kept in front of an east facing sliding glass door—soft to bright light. I water them when they dry out. They were doing fine before he repotted them.
FINISHED
Hi everyone,
I’m heading to LA next week for my birthday, and unfortunately my travel buddy had a family emergency and won’t be able to make it. I have some things I know I’m still going to do (Universal Studios, The Getty) but what are some other good things to see or do alone? Best restaurants/bars to visit alone and not stick out like a sore thumb? I’m turning 41 and I’m staying at The Loews Hollywood. Thanks!
Edit: Thank you, Angelenos! This is the most responsive local community I’ve ever posted in. I’m excited to check out as many of the places listed possible!
