partial denture advice

i got my first set of partial dentures this past friday and theyre incredibly uncomfortable. the extraction site is still a gaping hole but my gum tissue has fully healed and grown over the bone. from what i understand, the hole will slowly regrow bone from the bottom up and eventually be smooth again. my partial has this bump in the middle that presses tightly into my tooth hole and makes chewing and biting down super uncomfortable. can i ask my dentist to shave this bump down completely? will the bump affect how my tooth hole regrows bone? is this bump normal for partials?

how long can i keep red wine after its been opened?

i want to make a beef roast and it calls for red wine. im not a huge wine drinker, in fact, i dont drink at all lol. but how long can i keep it after its been opened? i dont want to waste money on a whole bottle just to use one cup of it. and HOW do i store it if it can be kept? the cork doesnt really fit back in there from what ive seen. are there wines that come with twist off caps?

need help choosing a paint!

im thinking of redoing my kitchen soon and need help choosing what type of paint to buy. our home is one that was flipped but not very well. the paint on the walls rubs off with water and a wash cloth so obviously cleaning the walls in our kitchen has been hard. i need something durable that will protect the walls and clean easily. ive seen videos online of people painting over their kitchens and the paint peels completely off or just doesnt stick at all. i read online that a semigloss latex paint would be best but will a paint+primer mix work? or should i buy them separately? which brands would you recommend and which to stay away from? we entertain guests super often so the kitchen is used a LOT.

does this look like dry socket??

i had my teeth pulled monday (6/15) and now it is friday (6/19). i just learned what a dry socket is and im terrified of it, i was awake during the extractions and the noises were horrific i dont want to go through that ever again. is this what a dry socket looks like?? or just normal healing?? my other teeth that i got pulled still have the blood clot in it but this one doesnt seem to anymore. i accidentally used a straw today but only twice, i ate some nutella and it got stuck to the roof of my mouth and reflex kicked in and i lightly used my tongue to try and suck it off. idk did i fuck up someone pls help im so scared of getting a dry socket
