Whats the consensus when deciding which one to put into a deck?

This took me sooo many tries!
That Charizard Y deck was so difficult to get thru
Luckily on this run i only encountered it once.
Mega Sableye seems to really scare the AI. The 40dmg proc stopped the AI from hitting me to KO multiple times.
Whens ranked start?! 😭😂

I completed the battle event with this deck.
Did it do well? No not at all
Mimikyu is so bad and the beaver is even worse.
Played atleast 75 games to complete the 25 wins.

It is sooo boring to see the same 3-4 decks in rotation constantly.

This time its:
Weezing with that red guy
Mega-Olisk
HoopAbsol
2 Chickens on life support
Sleep bums

I was so relieved when i matched with a BLAZIKEN!! It has been weeks since ive seen someone use that guy! He ripped my poor dirty rag kid to shreds!!

There are over 3,700x cards now.
To see minimal creativity in this game is very disappointing.
I get it some ppl just want to win fast and get their hourglasses etc.
but my god is this game boring.

Eeeevvrry day we re-play this game. 2 Pokemon are chosen, 1 to cook, 1 to drive the car to go pick up more Pokemon to bring to the party.
I am 36 years old, and lived thru the original hysteria of Red and Blue.
So to revisit Pokemon, 25/30 years later, with my kid, is such an awesome gift of nostalgia. Pokemon had a choke hold on us and wouldnt have it any other way!

There are quite a few options i see used for starters in a Mega Lucario deck.
Usually i run Sudo and Lee.
I see alot of people going for Bonsley these days.

Whats everyones opinion on which works best?

After countless losses on this task, and 100 different strategies, i may have lost my mind, but hear me out:

The AI seems to know which deck you play often or played last game against it.
So i believe it gives itself the advantage deck to counter you.

Lets say i start game 1 with Dark Type, and win.
Game 2 the AI will play Vespaqueen to adjust.
So game 2, i switch to Fire.
Get where i am going with this?

Game 2, win with fire.
Game 3 the AI will play CheinPao.
So i switch to Manectric.

I hope that makes sense to someone it may help.
But i truly believe it worked for me.

Has anyone had any success syncing these two?
Ive tried quite alot of combos with the classic Zark Absol Darkrai etc, but i find myself always going right back to the original lineup. These 2 seem like they are made for each other but maybe its just that the original Zark Absol Darkrai is so to perfect to ever needed to be changed

Had an absolutely flawless game 1-9. I fkin new it was going to happen. Brick city on the most consistent deck i have ever ran. They hate us.

I really like this card, but i feel like the whole point of the “trick” is that the opponent should not know which spot is chosen. Maybe this would make it broken but i dont think so.

Hi this is my 1st season playing ranked. I really just needed the hourglasses so bad Masterball is not worth the internal panic to me haha
Is it possible for me to drop down back to GB4 just by other players passing me? Or am i safe for 70hour glasses? Thankyou
