I’ll just get straight to it. You aren’t a burden to your loved ones, your kids, parents, friends, anyone. Whether it’s taking you to appointments, hours or days in the ICU and many hospital visits or anything god dammit you aren’t a burden and stop thinking that you are.
It’s just another responsibility that the people around you must take. That’s what family is there for. If they aren’t gonna take care of you in your toughest moments then what good are they to you?
My aunt needs a liver transplant and we’re in the process of listing her and finishing all the formalities and she doesn’t say it but I know she’s thinking in that way. Every time I see that look in her face I remind her that she isn’t a burden. Either way I’m in summer vacation from college so I don’t have jack shit to do.
And please take care of your diet and exercise as much as you can before the surgery if it’s safe to do so. Set a plan afterwards of how you’ll manage eating sleeping cleaning. Find a motive to keep going even if it’s something as small as eating a cookie from that bakery you love.
Find a therapist or talk to your loved ones. Speak your mind and take off as much stress as you can that’s been eating your mind. You need to step into surgery as relaxed as you can be. Fuck everything else. Be selfish for once in your life. Don’t worry about how they’ll manage finding a hotel or eating. Leave that worry to us. I think we’re all adults and capable of fending for ourselves.

They’re finally cracking down on all the colleges and universities in Oman that provide “degrees” that are essentially worthless. All the pour souls paying 10k+ for Bachelors, Masters and Doctorates that don’t even meet the minimum international requirements.
This is why our degrees are worthless. And why they aren’t recognized internationally. Hopefully this means that they will start getting their crap together and we can actually get what we pay for.

Got decants of both. Tried them both on skin. They both have that clean and airy texture. Reminds me of a 5 star hotel bathroom. They don’t last a lot ofc. I was mainly thinking to get one of them to spray at home or when I’m out of the shower. A dumb everyday reach when I’m at home if you will.
They both smell really similar and I just can’t make up my mind on what to get. Price wise it’s $90 for Mon Vetiver compared to the $150 Grey Vetiver.

Saw these on sale around me for 48 OMR a piece (around $125). Was honestly a no brainer since imo they’re the best flankers from the SWY line. A good balance between sweet and spicy while having a bit more personality compared to the others.

To anyone who doesn’t know, Sindbad was an Oman only release done by Amouage last year. But due to popular demand I’m guessing they decided to release it worldwide now.
Kinda feel bad for the people who did purchase it but then again if you did splash that much cash on it then it’s probably not the end of the world for you.

AND FUCK ANYONE WHO THINKS THEY ARE RELIABLE
Spent a whole fucking month perfecting my cloud computing assignment and I was pretty proud of it at the end. Professor replied that it has a 92% AI similarity and that I have to fix it otherwise I’ll fail the module.
I put my head down and rewrote the WHOLE FUCKING PAPER again and dumbed it down and submitted it again. What do you know? 52% AI SIMILARITY AGAIN. This thick headed bald mf said I either do it again or paraphrase it otherwise I’ll be failing. And I’ll be hit with an overdue deadline submission penalty.
I even rewrote the reflection part to seem like a 5th grader wrote it (no offense 5th graders) and I passed it through 5 AI detectors. They ranged from 0%-85% AI. I’m fucking lost at this point.
He said he doesn’t care how many times I rewrite it he just wants to see the AI similarity be less than 30%.
They preach over and over to upgrade your English writing and speaking skills and when you do they push you down. Funny thing is English isn’t my first language. So he probably expects me to write in broken English and submit it to fulfill his ego or what?

I’ve been hearing news that Amouage will be discontinuing Lyric Man pretty soon. And I might just buy 2-3 bottles. Hopefully it’ll last me a lifetime lol.
I’ve never really felt this way about a perfume before. Yeah sure some perfumes smell great, but nothing has moved me this much before.
The calm rose with slight freshness just takes me out of this world. It’s like all of the problems in this world just disappeared for a second. It does make me on the verge of being emotional at times lol.

I was checking out some alternatives to a traditional shuwa pit and came across Top Tanoor. It seems great but almost all the meats look to be dry. Has anyone tried their tanoors and if so how is it?
