Does anyone have a good baseline of settings for the moza R12 so I can compare my current settings? As for as gain pithouse is set to 55% and CM is 65 I think. I’ll also adjust the cars in game if I feel I need to lower the FFB
After a couple weeks of grinding drift practice and wanting to learn tandems something finally clicked today especially with the left foot braking. The other day I couldn’t even stay behind a car to save my life or I’d mess up cause I would be too pressured but finally figured it out a little bit. Still got a lot to learn but this is definitely a breakthrough!
So I’ve gotten decent at drifting and know how to initiate drifts with momentum, clutch kicks, and handbrakes ofc and can link any track now but I wanna deep dive into the advanced stuff like left foot brake and tandem proximity techniques. I can use left foot brake and also clutch with brake to slow down if I’m going to far but I guess I wanna understand it more so feel free to link some videos if yall have some good ones
First time I’ve ever drifted was when I was 17 and bought a beat up 1997 mustang gt. Never too crazy and mainly played around when it would rain. I just built a sim racing setup and have been drifting on there for about a week and got pretty decent pretty quick at least I think. Now I’ve been doomscrolling fb marketplace for cars I can build for drifting and have seen some decent looking 240sx for around $8k-$15k range. Is it still worth it to pay a little more for a better chassis or did the drift tax hit those cars too hard. Also any advice on how to tell my wife would be appreciated too
So I just built my sim racing rig and downloaded content manager and all that good stuff but when I went to practice in the game just to mess around I noticed that any gear I go into wether my h pattern or sequential, it automatically backs out the game and shows me the results. It doesn’t let me drive. I went through and made sure on the game and content manager that there’s no escape button bound or exit race button I’m just so confused
I’ve just ordered everything for my sim racing setup but I have a question about all of my monitors: I have a dual monitor setup at my gaming desk I stream with having a secondary monitor for chat and discord etc. i will now be running a triple monitor setup on my sim rig so that would have me with 5 monitors while only having 4 hdmi slots for my 5080 GPU. From what I have researched (having a 9800x3d in my pc) I should be fine running my secondary desk monitor for chat and discord through my motherboard hdmi slot using my 9800x3d feeling maybe 2% performance decrease at most. I was wondering if anyone uses the IGPU for their CPU or if anyone has had trouble with this.
