What should I do ? How do I approach this ?

So I 24f have a friend 25m who I haven’t seen since high school 10 years ago, a few weeks ago I saw his story on Snapchat and than couldn’t stop thinking about him a little background we were friend for 5 years in high school dated for 2 weeks of that but never did anything sexual. Anyways I reach out to catch up and we are both in committed relationships with kids. He said we should talk anymore because his girlfriend also 24 doesn’t like when he talks to girls. Now this is bothering me it’s been 3 days and it’s all I can think off I would love for us all to be friend his girlfriend who I don’t know him and my boyfriend and us of course but I don’t know how to make this happen. Should I text him again even tho we agreed not too ? Should I text his girlfriend ? Should I just leave it ? I really want us all to be friends if possible.

Edit because I wasn’t very clear: we talked for a few hours and he mentioned he should talk to me to much because his gf doesn’t like that he didn’t straight up say I don’t want to talk to you
