meditation, imagination, mind.

for me, meditation is mostly about getting my mind as one-pointed, as possible, right? Breathing, mostly. Watching it happening right here and now.

And there are meditations when you imagine stuff. Lots of different stuff. How is… possible then? imagining without commentary? How… do you do it then? I dunno, weird stuff.

Also learned about Nag Yoga, where you listen to… sounds in your consciousness?

I meditate fairly long time, not that constantly as would love to, but fairly long time and deep dive. No sounds. Absolute silence.

mantra meditation

hey
wanted to share some thoughts and experience I got recently.

I was kinda taught, that while meditating on mantra you gotta repeat it constantly, over and over. That works! No argue with that.

But what about timelessness of here and now? When repeating smth over and over you still get dragged into somewhat time measurement, like metronome ticking.

In that precise moment I managed to (I have no better explanation, than what’s coming, sry) “stick mantra in front of my inner sight”. Inner sight — for me is literal conscious eye-intention, mind focus and pretty much my whole Being. So this way, mantra quits being ticker, but becomes something more like state, which you observe. For inner awareness there is no actual need for repetition, there is no breath, no time, you can’t forget, but you may get distracted. Once realised distraction — draw your attention back to mantra-state(ment), thus “repeating” it, but still just observing.

Feels like eternal Ram.

ps: i just felt the urge to share. Which I did. Namaste?
