I’m considering a 3 speed with a granny gear how impractical is it for a daily? (No heavy hwy use just around town) What are the pros and cons? I’ve never driven stick but it can’t be too hard to learn right? Does anyone have experience with manual K5s and if so are they a pain? All opinions welcome
I’m on the fence about buying this(late 80s k5) The first two are the left side of the floor in the corner in front of the back seat, third picture is the right corner in front of the back seat, the last one is at the end of the bed, so would this be an easy fix cost wise or an expensive hassle? The rest of the body is in pretty good shape and the frame is a little rusty but seems decent enough, I was going to offer around 10. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Has anyone ever had a front clip swap done at a body shop? (70s front clip put on 80s body) I do not have the means to do it myself just want to know would it be worth it to buy an 80s square and have the front end swapped and how much it would really cost or should I just hold out for a 70s truck? It would be a K5 blazer and the 70s ones are harder to come by in good shape than an 80s one plus the the late 80s K5s are better built as far as TBI, power windows etc, any advice/opinions would be helpful
I’m considering buying this. The interior is in great shape. It has a few tiny rust holes as you can see but the paint is cracking all over the body. They want 9500 I only have 8k

I can’t seem to find any solid info on how much it would really cost to put a 70s front clip on an 80s body it’s not a project I could do myself and I would most likely be getting reproduction parts to do it does anyone have experience with having a body shop doing it instead of it being a diy job?
I’ve been looking high and low for years the 80s body style are everywhere can’t seem to find me a good 76-79 that isn’t completely rotted or 30k+ I just want a sweet daily I can gradually put love into not a for parts truck or an expensive garage queen (would a front clip swap just be the way to go? they get pricey when you don’t know a handy man who could do it and have zero experience with a project that big)
