Can someone help me find a TD for a calatrava

I am trying to find a TD who can source a decent rep of the calatrava 5226g
Something better than the shitter I have now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks !

Anyone tried this ?

Very interesting pour. Complex is an understatement. I would not recommend this to someone who only likes traditional bourbon or whiskey. But if you like other spirits such as Armagnac , ryes, scotch, brandy etc. then I feel like you would find this to be a very interesting and amazing for average age of the whiskeys inside this bottle of 15 years with a 52 year Armagnac distilled and 1973 inside 15% to be exact

It’s a very complex poor with much of the notes from the army yet coming through on the front end lots of dark fruits very sweet with a little bit of oak coming in on the back end from the bourbon there is a very nice poor for somebody wanting to branch out and experience something a little unique

Interesting

New things coming out of 13th colonies lately.

Word on the street is another limited release will be coming out soon. ( suspect it to be the 2026 barrel strength rye based off the sneak peaks photos ) but who knows. I’m curious if this will be a one off single barrel or eventually be a normal release.
6 yr 2 month wheated bourbon @ 125 proof.

Only a sprayberry bottle shope

Which one you drinking ?

13th colonies out with another banger !!! This symphony no.1 is very good! Lots of sweet complex flavors and aromas.

I’m very pleased with this poor I will definitely be sourcing a back up. I look forward to seeing more of this release in the future and I’m curious if the age statements will get a little higher.

A handful of roses

Visited the four roses distillery over Memorial Day weekend and had the pleasure of trying a couple of their LEs. Personally I loved the 2021

Bottle kill

This one has been around awhile finally killing off my Elijah Craig “C922” batch. It’s been around awhile and I had a pour last night and noticed it was starting to get a little “flat”

This was such a great pour. Time to hunt down another banger !

Killing off a bottle of bowman single barrel.

I don’t see this often in my area and always pick up when I find it for a reasonable price.

Found one at a total wine for $61 the other day which gave me clearance to go ahead and kill off my opened bottle that’s been babysat for the last 2 years.

Ironically I saw the same bottle at another liquor store I don’t frequent often for $199 !!

Laughable. I can’t imagine someone naïve enough to pay that price for this particular bottle

Sipping on some dusty rare breed tonight.

I’m not 100% sure but I believe this bottle to be around the early 2000s. Maybe 2009ish or so
Maybe you guys will know. The proof is 108.2.
Batch : WT-03RB

It’s got a replacement cork because the original was falling apart.

Found this gem today at my local liquor store sitting on the shelf they had 3 bottles left. Owner said he found them hidden in the back.

Knob Creek store pick back from 2020 just shy of 10 years old. bottled in the old bottle style with the old crappy wax.

Finally, getting around the polishing off the C 922 batch. This was the last batch that carried the 12 year age statement before they dropped it.

This bottle honestly has had a lot of airtime. I think it’s time to polish it off.
