For context I have never dated anybody

Me and this girl know eachother from this thingy that we’re apart of

She began following me on Instagram about 3-4 weeks before the thingy ended for the summer

As the last week went on she began talking to me and I began talking back to her

We had a few fun conversations then I decided to throw out a flirty line or two to which she seemed to enjoy

Then the final day of the thingy happened and I was working in a group with her and my female best friend and according to the best friend “she’s definitely into you she was blushing like mad the whole time”

Now after the thingy ended me and her kept talking for a few weeks I kept up the hits of flirty ness and I was even thinking of asking her on a date

Then I told my male best friend about it and me and him kept on talking and I came to realise that I don’t really like her romantically

And then after realising that I basically vanished for almost a month then she messaged me again and we’ve began to slightly talk

Do you think the opportunity has gone away or could it still happen
