How are we getting veggies in?

kiddo goes to daycare and eats a lot of colourless foods there. we’re trying to mitigate that at home by making her a variety of veg and fruits. I’m really trying to introduce more colours too.

any suggestions on how to get more veg in? for me and my husband too! I add lentils and veggies to pasta sauces now but I wanna try more stuff. she’s fairly picky with new foods.

2nd birthday toy ideas.

kids turning 2! she’s learning so quick and very interested in imaginative play and in helping around the house.

she’s getting a sandbox and some art stuff and books, but I wanted to get her either a dollhouse or a play kitchen. I’m unsure which will get more use. I’m almost leaning towards the play kitchen especially if we set it up to be usable. im just curious about some personal experiences!

those who have one or the other or both which gets more use? ideally I could buy both but we don’t have a crazy amount of space or disposable income right now lol. product recs are always welcome too.

Not ready to stop working but man I’m TIRED

basically the title. I work shift work in healthcare and it’s been killing me. my first pregnancy I went until 32 weeks. I’m only 24 and idk if I can make it much longer. i have a toddler at home and i think that makes it harder. I literally slept 11 hrs last night and still can’t get through the day without napping

I just don’t want to stop yet. I like my job, I enjoy my coworkers, I make good money. I’d still get some money but it would only be 75% of my income and we still needa couple things for baby.

idk. has anyone been in this boat? what did you do? I will try reduced hours or no night shifts but my company isn’t well known for accommodating part time work. they’d prob just put me off.

Anyone else exhausted? Like beyond exhausted?

I feel like with my first kid I just was not this tired. I’m 24 weeks ish (unknown LMP and late dating scan but roughly around there) and am finding it so hard to function.

I do work shift work and have had some extra stressful calls at work lately that have resulted in long hours and demanding work both physically and mentally. so I’m just thinking maybe I haven’t recovered from it?

I literally slept 11 hours last night and still am exhausted like I could go to sleep at 8pm. I do have a doc appointment tomorrow and I’ll mention it to her but im curious if anyone else has found the second trimester draining or if it’s likely my job&having a toddler at home lol.

I am hoping to reduced hours but idk if my job will go for it. they’ll likely just put me off

Second time mom, wanting to breastfeed.

the price of formula is astronomical. I know breastfeeding takes time and time is money but i get a year of mat leave paid at 55% so i have time and not money lol. my last baby I tried to pump but really struggled with supply and let down sickness.

has anyone had a really hard time breastfeeding/pumping for #1 and then succeeded with #2? hoping for some positive vibes and tips!

I will be keeping a container of formula in my pantry just in case I need it at 3 am when the stores are closed lol

I have been trying to find a nice, kneeish length wrap style dress for the postpartum days, but it’s impossible! maybe I’m too picky lol. I want it to be cotton or linen and kinda Cersei Lannister but modern vibes if that makes sense.

if anyone has any ideas lmkkkk

with the second baby on the way I am soooo happy we cloth diaper. my Grandma said the other day we should have a little diaper party since we will need smaller diapers for the new baby, I told her nope. we are set with our stash. never need to buy a diaper or wipe again!!

huzzah!!

but fr if you’re on the fence and want multiple kids it is soooo worth it to cloth!
