Looking for an Art Instructor from any college🎨 | Varanasi

Hey everyone! We’re a group of students conducting an independent social-work initiative where we’ll be organizing art/drawing activities and workshops for children.

We’re looking for a female student from any college Faculty of Visual Arts/Fine Arts who is currently pursuing a degree/postgraduate course related to Painting, Drawing, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, etc.

We’re hoping to find someone who:

Has a genuine interest in art and teaching

Is comfortable working with children

Can guide them through basic drawing/art activities

Would like to contribute to a student-led social initiative

This is a voluntary goodwill initiative, rather than a paid position. In return, the instructor would receive recognition/certification for their contribution and meaningful experience that can be added to their portfolio/profile.

If you’re interested or know someone who might be a good fit, please DM me with your course/year and a little about your experience with art.

Would really appreciate any leads! 🙌

Elevated ALT (98) at 15 years old – family thinks protein powder caused it. Looking for opinions.

Hi everyone,

I'm a 15-year-old male. I'm around 5'6" (167 cm) and 85 kg. I work out regularly and don't drink alcohol or smoke.

I recently got some blood work done, and these were the relevant results:

\- ALT (SGPT): 98 U/L

\- AST (SGOT): 49 U/L

\- GGT: 46 U/L

\- Bilirubin: 0.23 mg/dL (normal)

\- Albumin: \~5.0 g/dL (slightly above my lab's reference range)

\- HDL: Low

\- LDL: About 11 mg/dL above the lab's upper limit

The only supplement I take is a yeast-based protein powder from a reputable brand. My family is convinced that the protein powder caused the elevated liver enzymes and wants me to stop it permanently.

I'm trying to understand this objectively. From what I've read, these results don't seem to prove that the protein powder is the cause, and I know being overweight can also be associated with fatty liver.

I'm planning to see a doctor, but before that I'd like to hear from people who have experience with liver enzymes.

My questions are:

  1. Does this pattern of results point more toward fatty liver or could a protein supplement realistically be the cause?

  2. Has anyone had similar liver enzyme elevations that turned out to be unrelated to protein powder?

  3. What additional tests would you recommend (ultrasound, repeat LFTs, hepatitis screening, etc.)?
