Per my previous post, I recently received my first return. I listed two sizes of an item. The buyer purchased one size and said I sent over the other size, which Mercari approved. I videoed the item before I shipped it that shows I sent the right size and videoed myself opening the return. As expected, the buyer swapped the correct size I sent with the other size. After multiple back and forth with Mercari customer service and submitting evidence, they finally are in the process of reviewing my case. How long should I expect this to take?

Also, in the unlikely case I do win, am I expected to send the buyer back their item? I wanted to see if I should list the incorrect size in the meantime as I'm not sure Mercari would be on my side due to the horror stories I've heard on this reddit, but I just wanted to fight it due to the Buyer's principle/fraud in the hopes they do not do it to someone else.

I had two sizes of the same item I listed on Mercari. I sold one to a buyer and she’s claiming that I sent her the other size. Good thing I took a video because it shows I sent her the correct size. I also noticed two of the pictures she sent in her request was the exact same photo from my other listing with the size she did not purchase, just with a different background and cropped. Maybe she took the other photos from someone else as well.

I replied to the request on Mercari, but what are the odds I win this case? And if they side with the buyer, what should I do if I end up with a completely different item?

Hi! I received a banner about the Inform Act, so I'm considering changing from personal to business as I do not want people to know my name. However, when I try to update it, the options are business entity or sole proprietor. I don't have a business set up but I do have a DBA that I'd like to use. However, for sole proprietor, it says that I'll be doing business under my own name and not a DBA. If I process the conversion through sole proprietor, would I perhaps be able to enter my DBA after setting up the business account?
