Hi, first time!
My brother and I painted dolls for the first time ever! We used liquitex matter varnish for primer because we didn't want to incest into MSC and a mask and all that straight away. Also we did add paint thinner to the acrylic paint, but we're not sure how much is good haha. I also messed up here and there a few times with one kf tge eyes and the lips. We got a ways to go, more practice to do, but I'm very proud of us. These are some cute dolls!
Tips would be very welcome! We do see the brush strokes a lot, does that mean the paint needs to be thinner? I did try that too, but then it wouldn't really cover anything at all and it felt like I was wiping it off and just leaving an outline of paint. Gotta figure out the fine strokes and precision too, but I'm guessing that's just a matter of practice? I never paint haha
The dolls are LOL Surprise OMGs, Major Lady and Uptown Girl. Bonus Paradise VIP in the background done by my brother's bf
