Havanese, Maltese, Poodle
Good morning. I have recently gotten a dog from the shelter he was listed as a Maltese, which I see the shelter list any small dog with white fur. We have had him about a month. I’m not used to small dogs having been the previous owner of 2 Siberian Huskies. This dog’s primary method of communication is growing and grumbling, happy, potty break, frustrated, wants to play etc there is growls and grumbling. He also barks at any noise which we are working on. His favorite thing is to play fetch. He can play fetch in the house for 30 minutes or more. He loves toys, balls, tug of war and he likes to sleep on the bed and be on the couch with us. He is also very bossy if we don’t notice he wants to play fetch and will push on me with his paws and growl and shove the ball at me until I notice. He is 8 years old and weighs 14.8 pounds.
