Hello!
I’ve been accepted into UNCW as a communications major, I saw the black student population and I’m considering doing another year of CC then transferring to a more diverse institution. But before I do, I wanted to ask if the UNCW racism is overwhelming like I’ve heard and if it’s worth trying at least a semester (I lowkey really don’t want to).

I’ve seen a lot of discourse online about Gen Z not drinking anymore, going to the club, or partying/socializing enough. I’ve also been seeing a lot of people saying that Gen Z is in a dating crisis.
And after looking I’ve come to the decision that I’m just not going to date and save myself the trouble.
I’m 19 and going to my sophomore year of college. I’ve spent majority of this year inside my house because I took all online classes, I’ve enjoyed it a lot. It did get lonely sometimes, but I found it easier than embarrassing myself and talking to others
I’ll be honest I’ve been to a few parties, but I’ve never had my first kiss or gone to a club and I’ve only had maybe one drink. Overall I’m just inexperienced in general!
I just think that all this other stuff is too exhausting and people are very hard for me to read and connect to, so why put someone else through that?
Anyway, to this day I don’t leave the house unless I absolutely have to because I really don’t see a point. I like to read comics about romance or watch movies about it, I find satisfaction living through those.
So to save myself the heartbreak, I’m just going to spend my life alone ( I mean of course with friends here and there!).
Sorry if this sounds childish, I’ve just been thinking about it for quite some time!
