Feeling very detached from my cards after not touching them in years .. need advice

I used to be (in my humble opinion) pretty good at reading tarot. 8 don't remember the last time I did I real reading. Of course I expected to feel disconnected from the cards but j tried doing a reading and just felt so... Confused?

Like remember the meaning of most if not all the cards. But I just felt like I was shuffling and not really getting anything and even when I pulled the card I wasn't getting any insight from it even though vaguely applied to my situation

Of course I expected this to happen but... Any advice?

Got into a accident.. now I have facial recognition!? TW: INJURY

For context I have facial amphantasia.. I believe it's trauma related (I have been diagnosed with CPTSD) my facial recognition is trash. I remembered people based on other features like clothes, hair ext. Especially in memory it's th worst. Everyone's faves look like a blob. Even my own parents.

Well.. I was riding my bike home and a guy ran a red light and hit me. I'm okay. No breaks or fractures.. most likely have a concussion doctors said. It was fucking. Terrifying. Though.. I blacked out for a bit

I won't go in much detail because the point is ... I can remember everyone's faces super clearly. Like.. never had this before... Each paramedic, bystander, cop... So clear.

How??? WTF??

Has anyone seen a 'cognitive decline' in their own writing/creativity.. any tips to overcome this?

Iwas going through my old writing from middle school and early high school and not trying to self glaze but they are really good imo for my age I was at the time. Ive had this really really discouraging realization that blocks my creativity or progress every time I think of it... My writing overtime has simply gotten worse.

Now I'm aware that it is normal to lose a skill after not being used for a while. But I feel like there was an observable decline in my writing quality. For anyone who's read "Flowers for Algernon" think of towards the end of the book where you can litterly watch him decline. My bf who reads my works even notices it

I've been aware of this for months and in hopes of fixing it I'm trying to power through and gain my skills back and eventually get better. I recently was diagnosed with c-ptsd and I think it may have something to do with this. Can PTSD cause this?

I'm doing some general stuff like reading more, going to therapy ofc.

But anyway, I figure id post here to chat! :)

Thinking of getting a (dyed) wig, never had hair dye or a wig before

I know a lot of the questions on here pertain to wigs, but even if you have no experience with wigs and just dye I'd still love your advice!

So, because of contamination ocd (one of my triggers is chemicals like hair dye), and a few other reasons, I've decided to get a custom wig! I haven't ordered yet, but I'm seeing this girls work and it's very good. I just have a few questions 🙃

The wig I'm getting is synthetic. But on Google it says it's not possible to dye synthetic wigs, I've read a few forums that say it is possible but only with certain types of dye. (this follows up to another question aswell) WHat would happen if someone were to try and use regular dye on a synthetic wig? And how can I know they did use the right kind? (I'm sure they did, they have great reviews, just curious)

Not saying I'm going to purposely get it wet, but if it were to get wet (say I'm at the pool and someone splashes me.. or I'm showering and water gets on it) would that be an issue? Main concern for me is: would the dye run out? (Remember contamination ocd lol 😌)

Also.. is it safe to swim with a wig if I tie it up and try not to dunk my head? I'm seeing mixed answers online.. I'm thinking because of the dye maybe not

  1. Again more mixed answers for this one on what I'm finding online: can I use a straighting iron on it? Since it's synthetic and dyed? I'm pretty sure the artist of the wigs is from what I can tell, so I'm sure it'd be fine

TLDR:

Contamination ocd makes me scared of dye dripping out, and some other concerns. I've never had a wig before or dyed hair.

  1. It's a synthetic wig but the artist is dyeing it, should I treat it any differently than a hhuman hair wig

  2. How water safe is it (main concern is dye dripping on me)

  3. It it okay to use a straighting iron?

Tysm to anyone who read this!! :)

I'd love to chat about anything wig or hair related

CPTSD feels more like psychosis rn

I got diagnosed with this like a week ago and even though I don't know much about it it makes sense.

Idk what's going on with me rn, I'm afraid of every little sound and can't relax for shit. I feel like active danger

I feel like this is how psychosis is portrait, I feel more schizo than anything

Anyone can relate?
