1. A DARK PAST THAT SHAPED HIS PERSONALITY

From the very beginning, Satoru's life was never easy. He was born into the lower class, where a proper education was a luxury; therefore, his mother could only afford to give him an elementary school education, a common standard for the poor in his era.

His greatest emotional wound occurred in his childhood. His mother, who worked relentlessly to support them, died of exhaustion from overworking. The tragedy took place right in the kitchen as she pushed herself to cook Satoru's favorite dish. As for receiving a father's affection, he admitted to never having experienced such a thing in his entire life.

The tragedy of this loss forged Satoru into an individual who was both independent and apathetic toward his surroundings. He grew up as someone accustomed to swallowing his loneliness by himself, enduring a monotonous life consumed by a daily work routine just to survive in a harsh, dystopian world.

Consequently, the humanity within him gradually eroded. Even seeing orphaned children starving, dying, or lying dead in the streets no longer triggered any pity; instead, it had shifted into a normal sight commonly witnessed by him and the wider public every single day.

2. A SILENT AND LONELY DAILY LIFE

Every time Satoru returned home from work, he was greeted by the loud creak of his apartment door. He intentionally left the bent metal hinges unfixed. Repairing them meant spending money, and to him, the noise served a dual purpose: as a welcoming greeting that somehow made him feel accompanied, and as a cheap anti-theft alarm.

For Satoru, spending money to prevent a robbery in a place that had absolutely no valuables was utterly pointless. In that apartment, Satoru stripped off his mandatory protection from the toxic air of the outside world. He removed his air-filtering mask and dust goggles, then wiped his sticky body with just a wet towel to save on the cost of a steam bath.

Satoru wasn't actually that poor; he had savings he had accumulated since childhood, but he chose to live extremely frugally so he could use that money for the one and only thing that brought him true happiness.

In his empty kitchen, devoid of any cooking utensils, there was no warm meal waiting. His 220-yen dinner consisted merely of meat-flavored liquid jelly from a tube and a few multivitamin pills. He convinced himself that chasing after highly expensive fresh, processed food was a waste of time because, in the end, it would all just turn into feces.

3. HIS ONLY SOURCE OF HAPPINESS

In the middle of the nearly furniture-less room sat his only treasure and the fortress defending his sanity: an expensive, state-of-the-art chair produced by the world's Eight Great Megacorporations. On his desk lay a framed photo of a happy family holding a baby; he displayed it solely as proof that the owner of this room was a human who still possessed remnants of emotion. Satoru sat in his expensive chair. The exhaustion of the day made him sigh deeply as he looked at the calendar.

"Ah, it's still a long way off..." he complained, thinking about his next day off, which was still far away. "Ah-, Ah-, Ah-, Ah-"

He let out irregular, frustrated sounds before finally giving a small smile and telling himself, "Ah, whatever, forget about it." Because he knew, very soon, his suffering would be forgotten (even if only temporarily).

After finishing his steak-flavored jelly, the real routine began. Satoru opened a cover on the back of his neck, revealing an implant socket, then plugged a thick cable into it, put on his helmet, and injected additional cerebral nanomachines into his arm.

A sensation of light flowed through his veins as his brain connected to the supercomputer. After briefly skipping past the news about corporate conflicts and cyberware crimes, he muttered enthusiastically, full of excitement and joy at the thought of meeting his friends.

"Well then – let's begin." He then clicked on Yggdrasil.

To him, his friends (in Yggdrasil) were everything, the only family he had in a world that offered no hope to the lower class.

For Suzuki Satoru, the virtual world of Yggdrasil was not just an escape from the grim reality of 2138, but the only place where he could find hope and happiness. On an Earth that was ruined and dominated by corporations, he was just an ordinary worker who lived alone, with no family, and no future.

Inside Yggdrasil, however, Satoru successfully found the warmth of a true family alongside his guildmates. That is why, when he was thrown into the New World as Ainz, he did not miss his old Earth at all. To him, the legacy of his friends' beautiful memories was the only home he had, a place called Nazarick, which was more precious than anything else.

Even in the worst-case scenario, such as after Shalltear's brainwashing incident, he was willing to sacrifice his life or leave it all behind, as long as it could guarantee the safety and happiness of Nazarick.

Ainz is blind. Like literally, he has no personal ways to track the situation in Vollachia because of permanent magic control from their side, so he heavily relies on his agents. And he had no idea that the castle was stolen (again). I started making this post after Pucci finally contacted Ainz (https://www.reddit.com/r/TheWitchCultUniverse/s/NZSiVD6xfY) and told the exact location but he seems to be late the castle is now carried by Moguro who fights Gil

I don't blame Pucci, he helped me a lot and we've found the solution. Ainz is larping Santa Clause and sneaks in right during the battle.

Time to reveal everything in detail. Ainz Ooal Gown has fooled everyone again. This entire time he was secretly orchestrating a plan (which has no connections to witch cult) of unsealing Echidna. The main problem was the lack of information and the fact that I am stupid, but why do I have to do all the job myself? I can wait until Witch Cult does all the job and then simply get assisted by few people. Detailed explanation:

Unexpected allies

Adelheid and Death Devil were hired by Ainz to takedown Yoru and Gun Devil. Now Vollachian borders are free to enter. He also predicted that Witch Cult will send their agents to a palace and he was right — Sphinx and Gil are now fighting Moguro and Isolation devil just as he expected. He didn't cooperate with them. Moreover he was going to abuse them and let them do all the hard work. Now all the figures on the board are basically taking perfect positions, getting rid of Divine Generals

Enemy's mistake

You lost at the moment when you decided to evacuate everyone from the Palace, Yoru. Your mistake was to rely on hiding the Palace and hoping no one read the Moguro skills to understand that it can dig underground. Your second mistake was to transform Gun Devil and take down automatic defensive system that let Ainz sneak in on the territory and settle a secret base in Empire. Also you shouldn't have used Echidna's undead around the borders, Vincent...next time I recommend you golems because as a necromancer I can surely say that undead has to many drawbacks... including the fact there are at least three necromancers in this world who can take care of it.

And now he was ready. Fake "Ainz" is playing his role in Lugunica and acts like Sorcerer King. I gave enough time and hints to suspect him or expose his secret, yet no one did this. Now it's too late because Sorcerer King is already on his way to do what he wanted. He stepped on his former allies from the witch cult and didn't help Gil, neither he helped Sphinx. Like a true fraud he used the most reliable people in the world (Pucci, Adelheid, Death Devil) to get rid of Divine Generals and canonically no one even knows what he has planned because his doppelganger is still playing the role. (Everything mentioned here before is OOC)

He was prepared. After Supreme Calamitas and Pucci have him enough understanding regarding current Empire situation, he sets up his build up for a stealth mission. He used:

—Mana concealing ring. His Mana is completely undetectable now and he doesn't leave mana prints

—Absolute Unknown buff. It erase person's existence from the world, not simply making them invisible, but totally making their spiritual and physical form disappear

—Absolute Undetectable. Right after arriving in the palace using Greater Teleportation, he used Absolute Undetectable barrier which concealed his actions. If he accidentally breaks a vase or triggers a magical trap, it will work but no one would be notified as well as no emergency will be triggered.

—Fly. He used Fly buff to evade magic circles.

The Sorcerer King was ready. He was already floating in front of the palace where Sphinx was fighting Isolation Devil and met Vincent.

He thinks to himself sincerely apologizing. After all this operation was set up long ago and he had no rights to turn back behaving like a weakling. Yet he was a monarch...The King of Weaklings. Ainz instantly summoned Wandering Ghosts (image in the comments) which specialized on the stealth missions. These spirits sneaked in bypassing all the obstacles. They started to search for a door and found it in meantime, allowing their Lord to secretly sneak in using Greater Teleportation. Of course he was weakend since he only had perfect stealth buffs but he wasn't even planning to battle anyone since not a single soul except Pucci ,Calamitas, Adelheid and Death knows where the true Ainz is. And it was the finishing line of this strange story.

Hmm...

He doubted if he is doing the right thing. According to everyone, the Witch of Greed is now corrupted...but unfortunately Suzuki Satoru is very far from being noble. He is only trying to achieve his goal. He doesn't care if someone dies. He doesn't care if the world is destroyed. After all...this "Ainz" is not his past self. He didn't have time to appreciate the beauty of this world. He didn't know Pandora, he didn't know Kazuma and the Alliance of Great Calamity. So whatever he is going to unseal is not his problem — Ainz was going to simply let someone else take care of it if he wouldn't be able to do it on his own. This was his true nature — a snitch and a cheater.

Doom approaches

Meanwhile Gun Devil, Yoru, Adelheid and Death could notice that a huge 40 meters tall stone golem is approaching from the west. It was a perfect war unit — Gargantua. Extremely endurable and powerful golem with no feeling or emotions. It had no magic powers and no hax, the only thing it was capable of was tanking a lot and dealing massive damage since it possessed all possible resistances, making it a perfect shield for Adelheid and Death. His footsteps were making earthquakes, everyone in the Empire could hear it walking towards the north part aggressively. This collosal creature will be fighting alongside former Knight and the Depiction of death, bringing Vollachia deepest despair

The gate has opened. A grotesque stone golem appears with no signs of hostility...yet.

Ainz has noticed that sky over Vollachian empire is dark. He has seen multiple bursts over this place from his floating base. He was staring onto this unpleasant scene with a prideful nodding

What the hell?

It was Ainz's first words when he opened up his inventory searching for more books his previous self stored in this world and found a dead man's body. It was a handsome young man, around 20-25 years old with black hair, smooth skin and sharp night-black eyes. He was wearing a luxurious red suit. He quickly checked this corpse with Identify Item spell and realised he was killed by True Death spell.

He stayed silent unsure what to do. He was wondering if this Vincent Vollachia who was killed by his previous self. If yes, then he should keep this body away from everyone...

My assistant has finally bought me a SIM card and I payed for VPN subscription. Now I am back and ready to roleplay again!

As Ainz promised, he invited Albedo and Shalltear to a floating Wizards Guild base above Lugunica lands. It looked like a steampunk fortress that used magical generators to get surrounded by barriers and keep flying on the same coordinates. There in a large hall Death was sitting on the throne made of copper and covered in gold layer. It wasn't as luxurious as his throne it Nazarick yet he was insisted to have one here (he had no choice but to get along with that)
