How does the tailoring process normally work?

I ask because I have slowly amassed clothing that I don't wear, but that I would, if it was made-to-fit.

This ranges from trouser pants, Rugby shirts, polo shirts and so on. But I've never been to a tailor.

Do I just go in with all of my clothes, or do I need to be wearing the clothes?... If I need to be wearing the clothes does that mean I can only get one thing tailored at a time?...

I'm not a professional on terminology. But I'm learning I prefer a medium break in my pants. Do I need to know anything else?

Will tailors give me their input on what they think suits me? Because for me a lot of this is a learning process and I would appreciate their honest feedback during the tailoring.

It's difficult to buy Zanella in Australia. Any pant brands that are comparable in Australia?

Don't say Charlest Trywit lol (they're a good budget option). But not what I'm looking for right now.

AITB for dating my ex's sister?

Back in 2012, I belonged to an online anime community. I became close platonic friends with a girl named "Lucy." Added her on Discord. She’d disappear for months due to high school, but she’d always return. We'd seen various photos of each other, but we were kids, and I lived in another city, so it never went beyond innocent and flirty. But we both liked what we saw.

And then she disappeared...

Ten years later, Lucy randomly messaged me. Now adults, our old chemistry exploded. The innocent flirting quickly turned into intense, X-rated phone calls. For months, our daily routine revolved around mutual intimacy. We fell heavily for each other's adult personalities and voices, though we still used our childhood photos as mental placeholders. Ironically, I had moved for work, and we now lived in the same city.

Lucy lived with her traditional Asian family and constantly had to hide our explicit calls from them. During these late-night chats, she frequently complained about her older sister, "Jenny," calling her a lame, annoying nurse who just left a toxic relationship.

Virtually, we were boyfriend and girlfriend. Then, Lucy went on vacation to Japan with friends. The moment she landed, she went completely radio silent for a month. No texts, no updates. When she returned, she acted like ghosting me after months of intense intimacy was totally normal. A month later, she did it again.

I was deeply hurt. This wasn't a Tinder ghosting... it was someone I had a decade of history with. Then the breadcrumbing started. She would send emotional texts on my birthday only to ghost the next day, claiming she was "anxious-avoidant."

Frustrated and seeking closure after six months of silence, I did some internet sleuthing and found her family’s public Instagram. For the first time, I saw what adult Lucy looked like. But I also saw Jenny. To be honest, Jenny was a total smoke show.

Remembering how Lucy threw me away, and knowing Jenny was single, I shot my shot and slid into Jenny's DMs. She had no idea who I was. To my shock, we hit it off.

We’ve now been dating clandestinely for two months. Jenny is sweet, grounded, hardworking, and completely lacks Lucy's chaotic energy. The feelings are heavy, and I genuinely like her.

But here is the ticking time bomb: Jenny has no idea that the guy she is falling for spent months having an intimate virtual affair with her younger sister under the exact same roof.

I want a real, healthy relationship, so I plan to lay all my cards on the table before we make things official. AITBF?

Where can I get brown slacks like this?

I'm looking for a decent pair of brown slacks (not khaki or beige) but a nice light muted brown likes the ones in the photo. The guy appears to be a Calvin Klein model wearing Calvin Klein clothes, but I can't seem to find the pants on their store (or listed on any online vendors).

Any help in finding a similar pair of pants or helping me figure out the correct name for the color of these pants, the cut, and the type of pant would be greatly appreciated!

How to handle people constantly bringing up my appearance negatively?

So there's this co-worker named Lucy... An older mature-aged lady. And she keeps coming up to me and saying I have a doppelgänger. She acts all friendly and sweet about it so there's no easy way to tell her off. I get extremely uncomfortable with comparisons in general. I don't want to be someone else. I want to be me.

But it started last year...

Her daughter apparently saw a guy who ''looked'' like me smoking at a bus stop (I don't smoke) and began recording him to show her mom. Her mom then shoved her phone in my face and said ''SEE it's you haha.''

I pretended to look but couldn't bring myself to ACTUALLY look.

A few months later, during the Australian Open in January, this same woman (Lucy) comes back up to me and goes ''Do you have a doppelgänger?...''

If this sounds like déjà vu that's exactly what I was thinking (she has explicitly asked me that same question only months earlier). I started to tense up and brace myself knowing a comparison was coming...

This time her OTHER daughter was watching the tennis on TV and thought one of the players looked like me (her mom agreed) and then she raced over to tell me the next time we worked together.

She showed me a photo of this tennis player... And I wasn't sure whether I was meant to be insulted or flattered. I don't have an opinion on the guy's looks but I didn't personally see the resemblance myself.

''SEE, SEE. HE LOOKS JUST LIKE YOU''

I take a look at the photo and look back at her... What am I supposed to say?

''DO YOU NOT AGREE?!?!?''

I just shrugged and walked of.

After a while I think she assumed I was offended and began doing damage control. ''Don't worry, it's a good thing!!!!''

Me: I didn't say it wasn't, II just have no opinion... Lol.

Fast-forward some months to today... And for some reason Lucy is talking about doppelgängers with another co-worker named Abigail.

(I wasn't listening to their conversation)

Abigail randomly turns to me and goes, ''What about you... Do you have doppelgänger?''

And before I can respond Lucy goes ''YES, YES HE DOES'' and then lists the name of the tennis player.

A look of disgust sweeps across Abigail's face.

Abigail: Ewwww. Did you hear what she just said about you?...

Me: No...

Abigail: She said you look like [name of tennis player].

Me: Yeah... She told me a few months back during the Australian Open lol...

Abigail: DO YOU KNOW WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE?!?!

Me: No... Not really. Only one photo.

Abigail: IT'S NOT A GOOD THING. HE BEATS W*MEN UP. EWWWW.

And then I looked over at Lucy and she was trying to hide her laugh (apparently this was amusing to her).

So I don't know how to handle this but I feel miserable and super ugly now.

I wish people would stop bring my appearance up into things.
