I knew she was gonna be special early on in veg when the OGKB traits became apparent. The buds smell like blueberry waffles and paint thinner/astringent/turpentine. The bud structure isn't very great as of rn, not hopefil that'll change, but the nose and trichome density make up for it. Would probably be an excellent washer.

Dante's Inferno #8 S1 and Blueberry Sugar S1. Day 44

I decided to get with the times and run some hype strains this time around. Can't say a thing until I smoke them, but it's looking promising. These pics are from two phenos of each strain.

Dante's Inferno S1 from Greenpoint Seeds and Blueberry Sugar S1 from Heisenbeans. A combined $30 spent on these beans 😂

Fibonacci Nautilus

Some people expressed some intertest in my previous post, so I figured it was a good idea to complete the model, make it more nautilus-like and explain how I did it.

It all started with a 3" bisected circle as the foundation. Boss revolve to turn that into a solid model. each piece that followed was created via a sketch on the face of the previous, or a coincidental reference plane. I converted the entities, selected all converted entities and made them construction geometry. Then I selected the radius alone and used offset entities (inward) with a value of .2". After that I drew a line connecting the two points, closing the sketch, and revolving for 11.25º.

I repeated this 32 times. 32 boss revolves at 11.25 degrees each. 11.25*32=360. The final semicircle has a diameter of .2". This was my first time making this so my feature tree may look a little wonky. In hindsight, I'd have made reference planes for all 32 instances of the revolves revolve.

If anyone needs clarification or has questions, lmk, thanks.

I've been flooded with creative ideas since I can remember, but I never had the means to take an intangible idea and bring it into the physical world. The beauty of 3D printing to me is the access it has granted to normal everyday people to bring ideas to life. This new creative outlet has brought me more joy than I could possibly articulate.

This is a little spherical wedge cross-section sculpture (and stand) I came up with last night. Printed on the P1S using Sunlu Dual Color PLA Matte (cyan and yellow) and Elegoo PLA Matte (black). I'm relatively new to 3D printing and there are definitely improvements to make. You can see some layer lines and inconsistencies from overhangs. If anyone has any suggestions to improve the overall quality please lmk. Thanks.

The difference in stretch between the two strains was drastic and there was about 12"+ difference in canopy height. I decided to grab some plant stands, get the shorter plants all on the same plane and set up a drip tray catch system to make my life easier.

The Bluebery Sugar are stiff like bamboo and won't need support. The Dante's Inferno stretched like a mofo and already got their lean on. I didn't need a full on trellis so I set up a PVC frame for half the tent with some 3D printed connectors that attach to the tent poles. Garden wire is running in the Y axis to offer support and a place to tie branches off to, if need be.

I normally go for old school strains and classics, but I decided to mix it up this time and grow out a couple hype strains.

I have two Dante's Inferno #7 S1 (not pictured) and two of these Blueberry Sugar S1. The pheno with the OGKB traits smells like straight Blueberry Eggo waffles. The other pheno is sweet, blueberry and other notes I can't describe. They're both looking extremely good, and most importantly, they smell even better.

Popped a couple of these BB Sugar S1 seeds seeds from Heisenbeans. I lucked out and got this phenotype with the recessive OGKB mutation. The OGKB mutation frequently appears in inbred Cookie strains. It's somewhat common in many of the "Breath" strains Mendobreath, Peanut Butter Breath, etc. The "Breath" in their name comes from their OGKB parentage, aka OG Kush Breath.

This plant stinks more like blueberry than any other plant I've encountered, including DJ Shorts BB. It stinks of artifical blueberry syrup. My wife is the "it all smells the same" type of person and even she think it stinks like BB.

Blueberry Sugar's lineage is Grape Cream 2.1 X Blueberry Frosting

Grape cream 2.1 = Space Runtz x Deep Breath 45

Blueberry Frosting = Blueberry Muffin x Vanilla Frosting

Space Runtz = Runtz x Candy Rain

Deep Breath = (Mendo Breath x Gorilla Glue #4) x Alien Breath.

And so on and so on...
