Polar Pacer shows pace unreliably

I got a basic Polar Pacer some time ago. It is an old model today, but I wanted to get a reliable running clock to see my pace, heart rate and record my runs. The most important things was to see my current pace. So, I thought Polar PACER would do it.

I was running in a running track and tried to keep my pace at 6 min/km. Every km was +/- 5 seconds from 6:00, but the current pace that was shown fluctuated a lot (shown in the picture).

I ran as steadily as humanly possible on a running track, but my clock showed the pace in the picture.

There have been posts 2 years ago where similar complaints at Polar Pacer have been made.

It is really annoying that I don't see current pace even rather reliably. I would like to know how fast I run when I will run an upcoming half marathon. Times given in every 1 km are quite reliable, but I don't want to wait until the end of a lap to see my pace, I want to see my current pace when I run.

It is possible to see the current speed of my car with gps. Is it too difficult to ask the same from my running watch

How come the Finnish aren't considered indigenous to Finland like the Sámi people, despite their ancient Finno-Ugric ancestors arriving in the region of Finland at relatively the same time?

I'm currently doing research for a grade paper on the portrayal of Sámi people in 19th century Finnish literature for my Finnish Literature university course, and while researching I've found out that both the ancestors of the Sámi people and the ancestors of Finnish tribes that later became the current Finnish people arrived in Finland in roughly the same time period. Since learning that, I've wondered that if that is the case, how come we do not consider the Finnish people indigenous to Finland like we do the Sámi? Is it due to the fact their ancestors were many seperate tribes that over time combined into one peoples, including mixing with non Finno-Ugric peoples?

How big of a problem are dog attacks, dangerous dogs or stray dogs in your country?

Do you need to worry about dangerous dogs, dog attacks or stray dogs in your country?

Are there strict laws regarding to owning dogs?

In Finland, there are more dog attacks and fatalities caused by dogs than in other Nordic countries.

There are no restrictions by law, but you have to register your dog. There have been cases where dogs have bitten passers-by, and the right to own a dog is well defended while compensations are low.

I might be wrong, but in countries like Denmark and Norway, dangerous dog breeds (fighting dogs like pitbulls and livestock guardian dogs like kangals) are banned.

It has been discussed whether dog owners should pass a course to own a dog. More and more people are intrigued by dogs that are problematic (fighting dogs and livestock guardian dogs especially).
