What are the lead hypotheses for why cards have exponetially grown since 2024? I and Im sure many others figured things would die out after covid restrictions ended, which happened for a bit, but the crazy times seem back x 10.

Browsing Veriswap is infuriating because basically everyone values their cards at least 25% over comps (if not more).

Do people get that they just pay more in fees the higher they value?

I defintely have other complaints but this is the most confusing one.

I asked myself this walking by the sport card section and seeing a line of mostly dishelved people waiting for something I guess to drop

Are the ones buying all this retail stuff the ones that cant truly afford to like lottery tickets?

For me its if only Josh Hamilton didnt get into drugs and alcohol after he signed. He couldve been seen in the same camp as judge or trout. The guy had so much natural talent and its amazing he even had the career he did considering how it started.
