Im a big fan of the fal but im on an E-2 budget, I plan on building an ak as its the cheapest way into a nice ak (i dont want to buy a cheap psa one as ive heard bad things) Is the fal the same way? im tempted to hop on a $890 DSA at my local gun store but id like more opinions

Im in the coast guard, im close go finishing my contract. i want to stay in the armed forces but change branches. Are there any jobs that an mk or me could take and keep rank?

Pretty new to Ar style guns as i just moved from an assault weapon ban state. is it possible to change the upper or just barrel and hand guard go make my 16” radical look more m16ish or m4a1 style
