A person from UP contesting elections in Maval matadar sangh for over a decade. WTF?

TLDR: I've a problem with non-Marathi people contesting elections from MH. I have experienced that they try to engage in hooliganism with locals, snatch their lands, form ghettos of their community, usurp power and treat natives as second class citizens while quoting the Constitution. This attitude is what I'm opposing.

I was just going to find out more info. about one politician and accidentally came across this.

URL to Umashankar Mishra: https://www.myneta.info/LokSabha2024/candidate.php?candidate_id=6537

  1. How is a person from UP understanding of the problems in MH?
  2. Have they solved the problems back in their own home state?

I'm not here to spread hate or regionalism.

But please help me understand why people migrating for better opportunities to MH, have ambitions to rule this land sidelining the locals?

Is our state for sale? Does the Constitution tell people to reproduce a lot and ruin what others have built?

These people play the victim card of poverty while amassing illegal wealth and try to overpower our locals.

Got the Citizen Zenshin older model today! Thank you to this community!

A month ago, I requested help from this sub to help me choose between Citizen Tsuyosa or Seiko SRPK89 (both 37mm). I was eyeing either of the two watches for my 30th birthday as my first serious automatic. I own an Argos Apollo 2 and HMT Stellar (both gathering dust in my wardrobe as of now)

I visited the watch shop and tried out both the watches. The 37mm dial size which seemed decent when window shopping online, looked tiny on my wrists in reality. I remembered somebody recommending Zenshin on my post.

I gave it a try and woah! The watch was light weight. There was Seiko Pressage in the same range but Zenshin won my heart. I did not purchase it at MRP but I got little more than 10% off. Not a bad buy on one's 30th birthday! Thanks to that person and community in helping me with the research.

Driving to work in car to Mumbai

Hello,

Is there anyone in this sub who drives to work towards the eastern suburbs of Mumbai daily or few times a week?

I wanted to know how convenient the drive is and the daily expenses incurred. Last time I took my motorcycle on Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway, it was 2022.

I'm open to hearing experiences from people who commute via car to avoid the crowded AC local trains? My guess about the biggest expense will be fuel followed by commute time.

PS: I'm tired of shelling out ₹4k a month to commute via the AC local and metro.

Edit:
Starting point: Nalasopara
Destination: Powai

कोणी प्रवास करत असेल तर कृपया मार्गदर्शन करावे.

Help with first serious automatic - Tsuyosa 37mm or Seiko sports 5 SRPK89

I have a budget of ₹40,000, and I'm considering to buy either Tsuyosa 37mm or Seiko sports 5 SRPK89.

I'm torn between the two choices. This is not going to be the only watch in my collection in future. Since I'm upgrading from an HMT automatic, I wanted an enthusiast piece which is versatile enough so I can pair it with formal as well as casual wear.

The argument against Tsuyosa is that its design looks flat but it features a sapphire crystal and a better bracelet than Seiko.

The design on Seiko looks good, but it features a hardlex crystal and slightly poor quality bracelet than a Tsuyosa.

Can you please help me decide?
