Urgent Advice Needed: Flipkart OBD Failed due to DENT. ₹16k trapped in Gift Cards & Sale Discount Lost!
Hello Fellow Redditors!!
I need help navigating a Flipkart Open Box Delivery (OBD) nightmare.
I ordered a laptop during the recent sale using over ₹18,000 in Flipkart Gift Cards and rest from my HDFC credit card to avail the credit card discount. I had to use gift cards because my credit card limit was less than the amount of the laptop (85k). When it arrived, the OBD revealed a massive physical dent on the top right corner of the lid of the laptop. I have the video proving this. The delivery was rejected at the doorstep.
Now, chat support is refusing to give a replacement or a price-match voucher. They are telling me to reorder at the new, much higher price.
My issues:
1)My ₹18k is trapped in Flipkart gift cards, so I can't just buy from Amazon.
2)I lost the massive sale card discount due to their damaged inventory.
3)Standard support is useless and repeats scripts.
Has anyone successfully fought this? I have emailed the Grievance Officer and tweeted @FlipkartSupport. What is the exact process to force them to issue a price-difference voucher or manual replacement? Should I immediately file an NCH complaint?
