Help me with my health issue ( platelets count)

Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask if anyone here has faced a similar health issue. My platelet count keeps dropping again and again for the last 2–3 years. Even after taking medications and IV drips, the platelet count increases very slowly, and after some time it becomes low again. I still don’t know the exact reason behind it.

Last week, my liver enzymes (SGOT/AST and SGPT/ALT) were also increased, and doctors mentioned some liver-related issue, but now those levels are back to normal. So I’m confused whether the liver problem could still be connected to the low platelet count or not.

I’m also worried whether this could be related to any infection like hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV, or any other condition, because I still haven’t found the root cause.

I’m really worried because this has been happening repeatedly. I have already done some basic blood tests, but I feel like I still haven’t found the actual issue behind it.

Has anyone experienced chronic low platelets like this? What was the reason in your case? Could liver issues still cause low platelets even if SGOT and SGPT are normal now? Did anyone discover it was related to hepatitis, HIV, autoimmune disease, vitamin deficiency, or something else?

Please let me know your experience if you’ve gone through something similar, and also what tests or specialists helped you find the cause.

Any advice or shared experiences would really help. Thank you.
