I was wondering if I should've started Brotherhood first instead of the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist.I searched it on Google and it seemed to have no problem so I was wondering what do you guys think?
I thought about this while re-reading the JCC arc. It's clear that photographic memory runs in the family--from the Grandpa, to Amane.I don't recall it ever being confirmed for Yotsumura too, but it's likely he has some degree of it.Since Yotsumura was present in Sakamoto, Nagumo and Akao's pasts, there could have been some moment where they interacted in some way, in which I could see Yotsumura using his photographic memory to remind Sakamoto of himself, bringing Uzuki back to his senses.
Since Uzuki also has the Rion persona, I could see them doing something similar. Kindaka was also present back then so I could see him playing a part in this.
I do doubt Suzuki would think of this considering how predictable the story has been so far.It would be really cool though.
Just finished season 1, Pennywise genuinely gotta go man
Not gonna lie, this album is genuinely undeserving of all the hate I've seen about it.Great production, good replay value, decent length with a pretty consistent tracklist.
There's clearly a west-coast homage sort of theme going on which I really like and you can tell from the beat selection in tracks like reincarnated and squabble up.
My ranking of the tracklist:
●Great beat and one of Kendrick's most impressive rapping performances and writing.
●easily one of my favorite of the heart series.
●I'm glad this was the outro.Good chemistry between sza and Kendrick
●Very cinematic and progressive track. One of the standouts on first listen
●one of the two tracks I'd heard before this fill album listen.I liked it first listen and didn't really get the hate for it.I still like it after re-listening to it and STILL don't get the hate for it.
●I had also heard this song already.I like it quite a lot but I feel like I would enjoy it much more if it wasn't as overplayed as it is.Still a great track nontheless
●I had already heard bits of this song before on tiktok.I enjoyed it even more during the context of this album.
Love az chike's verse a lot.
●Great choice as an intro,I do think it drags out a bit but it might just be me.
●Great energy and beat.I'm glad Kendrick released this as the full song to the not like us snippet.
●I love the beat,I like both of the performances I enjoyed it quite a bit. There's nothing I dislike abt it I just prefer the other songs.
●It's a cool song, but it's pretty forgettable compared to the rest of the tracklist.
●easily the weakest track.I don't hate it as much as most people do,but I don't really like any of the performances nor do I like the beat that much.
Overall, pretty consistent tracklist other than one or two duds.Still don't get the hate for it,it might be people who were expecting something much more conceptually heavy from Kendrick but this is definetly the project he needed after everything going on in 2024.
