“Ti always assume something is wrong, in a pursuit for truth”. Can you put your dom function in this sentence ?

Another one I tried to do is Ni.

“Ni always assume there’s no god, in a pursuit for spirituality”

My INFP brother literally sleep all the time, whenever he gets the chance to.

So is my colleague at work too. Even when they already slept for 10 hours, it still doesnt seem like it’s enough. Maybe it has to do with the fact that they have body image issues and both are anorexic ? Cause they starve themselves which deplets them out of energy ? And so maybe they have to sleep to conserve energy, don’t know just guessing.

My inferior function is my achilles heel.

I’ve been heavily deep diving in MBTI for years now. You always see people telling you to put time, effort and work on your inferior function, and I’ve been doing so for years now, and guess what, it never pays back, it’s never fullfilling or rewarding. I’ve been much better off before mbti’s advice on fourth function. As an INTP I used to shut down my Fe anytime of the day and I would never be happier than doing so.

Today I felt like I’ve been used after using it for soo long, and realised how much time I’ve wasted with it and gained nothing. Whereas if that time was put in Ti I know I would’ve gained things I would’ve cherished for the rest of my life.

Your Hero is your identity, and your inferior is nothing but it’s achilles heel or weakness, in my eyes.

This has reminded me of my favourite mbti podcast which is called personality hacker, they’ve had one motto for the past 10+ years they’ve been teaching mbti for, and it was that you should always develop your second function because it’s the door to your growth. Whereas they have mentioned that 3rd function (which they say it behaves the age of 10 yo child) is extremely hard and unnecessary to develop and grow. They said that the 4th function (which they say it behaves the age of 3 yo toddler) could never grow or develop and any work towards it is a waste of time and effort (this was their opinion as well as many experts they have contacted in this field).

I hate to be pessmestic, and to be honest I don’t even think this is pessimism, quiet the contrary, I think most people would find it optimistic since they’ve been told to work on this function and it made them nothing but exhausted and misearble in return for a very delayed and unknown “payback” or “growth”.
