[Question] I want to start getting must-haves for hunter builds

I've got all of the exotics that Rahool has, as well as many weapon exotics. But I don't have any raid or dungeon gear (only just got my friends into Destiny), and I'm slowly starting to notice the armor set bonuses.

My question is fairly simple: what are your must-have exotics, armor sets, weapons, etc for a competent raid-ready hunter? I'm using meta builds, but they're sort-of every-content builds, and I've never had a build where you switch weapons out mid-fight, between fights, etc. So I'm new to that concept. Is there anything I should always run (I'm aware of Tractor Cannon as one example of this)?

Maybe this question is too broad. If I had to boil it down, what are your must-have exotics, weapons, or armor sets, just because of how overpowered they are?

Badass themes... in odd time signatures

One thing I love is when game composers use non-standard time signatures. It makes the track seem much more badass, frantic, etc for what they are trying to do. I'll give some examples, but what ones have you found?

  • Star Fox 64 - Heavy Boss - 10/8 broken down into 3/3/2
  • Star Fox 64 - Corneria - 6/4
  • Mass Effect 2 - Suicide Mission - 7/8
  • World of Warcraft - Title Theme - 7/4
  • Helldivers 2 - A Cup of Liber-Tea - 5/4

3rd Playthrough, thinking of doing Long War, concerned about difficulty

Last I played this was maybe 5 years ago or so, so it's been a while, and I don't remember the overpowered combos, but might once I install and get started. But I was wondering if The Long War is the right place to go. I'm concerned about the increased difficulty, and frustration of getting unlucky, which is something that happens, but you can make up for it on vanilla Veteran.

Is Rookie Long War about the same, difficulty-wise as vanilla Veteran, but just longer with more to do? Or is there more to it than that?

What other survival games are like Dune Awakening?

My wife and I are loving the casually-hardcore atmosphere that Dune: Awakening, and we're not finished with it yet, but we're getting to the really grindy spice-harvesting part, and might put it down soon.

I'm a well-rounded gamer, but she goes absolutely nuts for a good survival crafting game, and this has been one of her favorites (despite its buggy nature).

What are some other games that are "like" D:A in the feel of the survival/crafting aspects? These are the key things:

  • Good traversal mechanics
  • Quality of life crafting (quick-stack, pull from chests)
  • Lots of tasks/quests/story content
  • Non-punishing death mechanics (lose some-but-not-all stuff) Worm notwithstanding
  • PVP Optional (or PVE entirely/offline)
  • Dungeons/deep delving content with rewarding loot
  • Good building mechanics
  • Controller Support

The first one that comes to mind is No Man's Sky, but she couldn't do the 6DOF flying, so we're super excited for Light No Fire. Another one is Enshrouded, which we've played and loved. Terraria also ticks these boxes, but we've already played the crap out of that.
