Chanel Dad Sandals

My first ever rep order! I personally don’t have an auth version of these sandals but I’ve seen a couple of auths online.

Pros:
I would say I’m quite happy with them, the sizing is great too. I’m a size 38 and these fit me really well, and I have wide feet.
Process was fast and smooth.
The hardware also look great - not too yellow gold in person.
They are very comfortable. No discomfort on the foot like on the ankle which is typical for me in sling-back sandals.

Cons:

Tho I do have to say there is a light smell to it which I’m hoping will be gone with use and some fresh air. I took them out of the box and they seem to smell better.
I do have to say the weaving on the Chanel logos need more a bit refining but I’ve searched a couple online and even the auths seem to have some inconsistency on this. The “made in Italy” on the soles seem a bit (realllyyy a bit) bigger than the auths but tbh nobody’s gonna look at the soles. Again, these are just my thoughts but I do understand that some may not be comfortable with the cons.

Final verdict:

Overall, super recommend Hannah! The entire process took about 3 weeks, from order to delivery. They cost around 150 USD. Hannah was great to work with, I got a lot of questions and she was patient answering them. I also shared my feedback to her!

So, how did I do for my first purchase?

Chanel Dad Sandals size 38

My overall impression says its a good rep, pleasantly surprised by how they look. I tried zooming in the logo and comparing them to the auth ones but the logos seem inconsistent in a way even with the auth ones?

It’s my first time buying so I wanted to check with the community their thoughts on this pair.

Buyer buys a item from me

I inform the buyer via Vestiaire App chat that I will be shipping the item within the week

I download the label via the Vestiaire App. Pack the item well. Drop it off in Vestiaire listed Mondial Relay locker.

Fast forward to today, buyer tells me the box is empty aka the item is missing despite me, wrapping multiple layers of tape around the box to be sure it’s protected.

Buyer files a claim on Vestiaire. I file a claim on Vestiaire app as well.

I’m not sure how this happened but I want to be compensated for my time and the item I shipped that was in good condition.

I’m now awaiting Vestiaire to contact me but their customer service says they are conducting the investigation on my behalf.

Any one have the same experience?
