Beat friend and partner have been intimate
So my partner and my best friend have been close friends since college and now we are all in our 30’s.
My best friend has been intimate with a lot of people I know and has recently got engaged (so has cheated on her partner on multiple occasions without consequences).
I got with my partner nearly two years ago, now they have openly had this flirty banter (more so from her part) and it has made me uncomfortable on numerous occasions but I’ve had to remind myself that it’s okay as nothing has ever happened between them.
I also like to add his ex partner was suspicious of our friend and another friend within our group also was suspicious of same friend and they have openly joked about how crazy they are to think this was as nothing ever happened between them.
I went through his phone and came to find out that they have been intimate (a few years before we got together) but said friend had invited him back to hers to stay when we had all been out (a few months before we got together) but because her house wasn’t free, he didn’t stay but had said he would’ve if he could.
Reading what I have read like the boasting has knocked me sick. I am devastated because it felt nice knowing this was one person she hadn’t been with but now I feel sick.
She is my closest best friend and i don’t know what to do as he hasn’t cheated on me, I just can’t believe my gut instinct was right and I’ve just been gaslit so hard to believe nothing has happened.
He has already blocked her on everything and is willing to try again with me, she has messaged me and because she doesn’t know what I know, has apologised but then backtracked saying nothing happened.
I feel done with her but I can’t stop thinking about them both being intimate (no sex) 💔
