RC-600 Adaptive Delay?
I used an RC-20xl for years and just loved the adaptive guide that would begin playing an appropriate beat with the tempo of my loop as soon as I hit playback.
Flash forward to the RC-600 as my looper of choice now and I just can't wrap my head around it's massive backing rhythms. I'm finding it much more fun to strum/pop/slap my own percussive sounds on my acoustic.
I have a lot of stop/start parts that feel kinda dry without a delay trail off, so my question is if anyone knows how to set up the delay effect to adapt to the tempo of my playing?
For the record, I have tried making multiple presets per song with the delays already programmed at the tempos I wanted, but keeping a consistent sound between all the presets once I started fiddling with each one became a nightmare. I'm just trying to see if I can go back to basics by using the 600 essentially as a 3-4 track RC-20xl with the delay adapting like the guide on the 20xl does.
Tl;dr: trying to see if I can go back to basics by using the 600 essentially as a 3-4 track RC-20xl with the delay adapting to the tempo like the guide on the 20xl does.
Thanks!
