Purr Pops Chicky Licks suddenly causing vomiting

Riddick has been eating Purr Pops since he was about 4 months old, and he’s now just over a year old. I always buy the large boxes from Amazon, but recently he’s started vomiting just a few minutes after finishing one. This has happened on three separate occasions.

I’m beginning to wonder if I received a bad batch. Has anyone else experienced sudden gastrointestinal issues with Purr Pops, or had a cat suddenly stop tolerating them after eating them for months?
