Anti-teaming measures; teaming against teamers

With the widely known issue of pre-teaming in matches, people have voices solutions to fixing this easy to recreate, yet powerful, exploit of the matchmaking system. But it will take time for the devs to implement anything. So in the meantime, what can we do to fight back?

One thing that comes to my mind is fighting fire with fire, or pre-teaming too, but hear me out on this one

Rules apply to not become a part of the problem:

- players won't abuse this exploit in order to gain an advantage over anyone, but rather to equalize the chances in case bad actors are present

- if either or the pre-teaming players decide on a PvP approach, the other does not interfere and just watches, making it CLEAR to the other party

What do you think of this approach? Certainly questionable in terms of rules, and can even get you banned if someone misunderstands the situation, but would it be fine, as long as these two rules are being rigorously followed by the teamers in question?

ELI5 why is gold so stable as a currency despite there being more of it as time goes on, while other goods get cheaper/more expensive, or fluctuate?

I don't mind a bit complex explanations, but please do explain terms/facts that wouldn't be well known on average
