Getting a convex edge right is no easy task. If you’ve ever ground one, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
This is a video that took several months to produce, documenting the process of this knife from design to final production. Of course, to maintain a smooth pace and avoid dragging on, many details have been omitted.
I made modifications based on the previous prototype, and the forward finger groove was adjusted according to Netizens' suggestions. The blade profile still maintains the full convex grind. The handle material is Denim Micarta, and I also made special editions featuring Maple and Jinsinan wood. Blade Steel: Elmax.
One more question: hand-ground knives don't seem to work well with Kydex sheaths. For an outdoor knife, do you have any good suggestions regarding the sheath?
My design sketch—regarding the curvature of the knife handle, I'm having trouble finding reference materials. Could you please give me some suggestions? For a small straight knife of this size, what kind of handle do you prefer?
Is it better to have a flat one, or one that's slightly raised at the palm?
My master's whetstones, used for sharpening Japanese swords and convex edges, while I only know how to use sandpaper.

Hello I am a knife designer. This knife is a full-convex one, which is very special. In the video, I'm using a sample. For the bulk production, I replaced the handle with Micarta, changed the steel to Elmax, and optimized the shape of the handle. Its performance will be even better! I hope you all like my work.
