Rapido captain asking for ransom to return something i left in his cab

I left a high value item (10000 rs) in a Rapido cab, i got into contact with the Captain and he’s saying “what do i get in return?”

the item in question are shoes that i left in the cab

as far as im aware, a captain is not permitted to request extra money for services, not are they allowed to do any fraudulent things like this

it would be understandable to request a fee for the trouble and hassle and whatnot but idk if hes going to give a nice number

what should i do? rapido support havent been much help

edit: i never asked for him to deliver the package, he said he’ll send a rapido. He did send the packet, except my shoes werent in it. Therefore he has committed a violation under section 314 and i will be escalating this to law enforcement.

iOS 27 Parental Controls have been “Reworked” - READ THIS

Hi guys,

I installed iOS 27 developer beta last night. Very big mistake. Parental controls have been “reworked”. Theyve removed the options for “ignore restrictions for today”, and “15 more minutes”. Now i think this only applies to if your parental controls are set into the phone rather than through family sharing, but still, Apple have added a shit ton of new parental controls and limits, for example parents can now see your most used apps, they can block ppl to talk to, they can restrict websites and much more…

plus the “One more minute” option doesnt work properly rn. Im stuck asf and I cant roll back my update either because I never backed anything up.

So, before you install iOS 27, please PLEASE read through the changes they have made to parental controls because its not worth it

Am i fine having my monitor arm like this? And, will i be fine mounting a larger monitor?

Im noticing very slight tilting but i thought this was how these arms were meant to be used? Im more concerned about my table, its an IKEA tabletop and i dont want it to implode

Parental controls do nothing but fuel addiction

I am 16. When I was 13, i got my first phone. Immediately, family link was installed on it. I had disgracefully tight screen time and downtimes. I found bypass methods that worked. However, the more i spent time finding bypasses, the more rewarding it became, so the more time i spent on it. And it ended up affecting my whole life. It fuelled addiction that couldve been easily prevented if i had the phone unlocked for me in the first place.

Fast forward 3 years, i got another phone. By this time, I was mad addicted. 15 hours on the phone app daily (bc bypass). This time it was an iPhone so my parents didnt know how to restrict it so they just let me have it. Thats when i realised that having your phone unlimited is way better than restricted because you know you have your phone with you all the time so theres no sense of “i need to use my phone before time runs out”.

If theres one argument you want to present to your parents, its this:

Setting restrictions like downtime only fuel addiction. They make you use your phone more in the small space of time you get to use it. It creates a sense of “i have 1 hour to use my phone, i need to get everything done in that hour” and that ends up being you on your phone for one hour straight.

It also does the opposite of preparing you for when you do have an unrestricted phone. You end up overusing it because of the privilege (think of when you got your first playstation: didnt you use that a lot the first few days?) and parents dont understand that its just hype thatll die down and they set restrictions and the cycle repeats.
